New Pack for Server 2

Since All The Mods 2 is not updating with the mods that we need, I am working on a new private modpack for our Play2 Server. This is loosely based on ATM2 and has every mod we were using previously. I added a few extras too, such as EvilCraft. And of course, because it’s modeled after ATM2, this pack is not designed for balance. It’s just a bunch of cool mods. Check out the mod list below and let me know what you think.

I do not plan to add more mods than this unless I missed something really important. Please don’t bombard me withย mod suggestions. This pack is already quite large, we need to save room for Ender IO, Botania, Blood Magic and possibly Thaumcraft, and I don’t want to push our server too hard. There are a few mods I think we can get rid of though, and I’ve colored them red below. Please let me know if you were using any of them or plan to use them. If there are objections to removing a mod, I will not remove it. If there are any other mods you think could be removed, let me know that too.

  1. More Overlays(we have LLOverlay), SubLib and Pet buddy mod aren’t updated to 1.11.2 yet.
From the red colored ones, I think people on the server is only using SoulShards:TOW.
My suggestion for mods that we could add is Integrated Dynamics and Integrated Tunnels, naver played with them but they seem to be really nice.(Logistic Pipes type of thing)

      1. Oh yeah… I almost forgot. I do plan to add Integrated Dynamics and Tunnels. I wasn’t going to at first, but this pack really needs more item, fluid and energy transfer options. Plus, it seems like it would be a lot of fun.

  2. I would like to keep Packet Filter and Soul Shards, and I need The One Probe unless there’s a new Waila port. Crafting Tweaks would only matter if you have or plan to have custom recipes.

    1. Hwyla is WAILA ported. I will probably keep The One Probe but require the probe for usage since we have Hwyla.
Crafting Tweaks is the mod that adds the buttons to the crafting table. It lets you rotate or rebalance items. You are probably thinking of CraftTweaker. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. First download the zip file from the link in the server status area to the right. This is a Curse project export, so to install it, you’ll need Curse to install it.
      1. Open Curse and go to the Minecraft tab.
      2. Click to “Create Custom Profile.”
      3. Click the “Import” link text near the top of the dialog that appears.
      4. Navigate to the zip file you downloaded.
It should then download all the mods and the correct forge version for you.
